HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
The Muskoka Staffing Co. Ltd. is vitally interested in the health and safety of its employees and Associates. A major on-going objective is to protect employees and Associates from workplace injury or illness. The Muskoka Staffing Co. Ltd. will make every effort to provide a healthy and safe work environment. All of the Client workplaces in which our Associates are placed, our Associates themselves, and The Muskoka Staffing Co. Ltd. employees must be dedicated to the objective of reducing the risk of injury and illness. The Muskoka Staffing Co. Ltd. will follow all legislative requirements set forth by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Ministry of Labour and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.
As an employer, The Muskoka Staffing Co. Ltd. is ultimately responsible for worker health and safety. As owner, I give you my personal promise that every reasonable precaution will be taken to protect all of our employees and Associates. Our Health and Safety Coordinator personally visits every client worksite to ensure the safety of our Associates.
Due to the nature of our business, we must also ensure that our Client companies provide and maintain work environments and systems that are both safe and without risk to the health and safety of our Associates. We believe this can be achieved through documentation, communication and our personal work site visits.
Muskoka Staffing will inform you of any personal safety equipment that is required for your placement. If the employer asks you to perform a task that is different form the one to which you were assigned initially, please let a Muskoka Staffing Representative know right away. Also, if you are asked to perform a task which you feel is unsafe, please inform your on-site supervisor and contact us immediately. You have a right to refuse unsafe work!
