What makes one company truly different from another? It's people! A company that respects employees is rewarded with a committed, hardworking staff - and ultimately, long-term success. A successful company attracts more good people, and therefore, even more success.
Approximately 75% of all business expenses are related to human resources, including benefits, absenteeism, recruitment, and turnover. They key to your company's success will be how you manage people. Since 1997, Muskoka Staffing has helped businesses of all shapes and sizes manage human resource challenges, allowing them to build a better staff and achieve better business results.
In today's competitive business environment, company owners and managers evaluate their people in terms of accountability, productivity, and professional knowledge. At Muskoka Staffing, we exercise these same standards when we fill the staffing needs of our Clients.
With our interactive computer "matching" system, we respond quickly and efficiently in assigning temporary placements and qualified professionals to a wide variety of job classifications. Once we have thoroughly evaluated the exact job requirements, we carefully select the most qualified people to "fit" the position.
That's just the beginning! We stand behind our service. Muskoka Staffing is accountable for the conduct, quality, and performance of its Associates.

Muskoka Staffing is consistently interviewing and assessing potential new Associates. Each Associate has a one-on-one behaviourally-based interview with either our Account Manager or Recruitment Manager. We believe that this interviewing process is important so that we can assess an Associate's experience skill set, as well as personal strengths and to "get to know" the Associate to determine which potential position would be suitable. This ensures the best possible match between our Associates and our Clients.
We follow-up verbally, within a few days of the commencement of a new assignment. A large percentage of our placements are "repeats", Associates that have been requested back to a particular placement and this is reflected in our follow-up procedures (i.e., we may not call the Client for feedback on a repeat, and successful placement). Our Clients are encouraged to provide us with feedback on our services and, of course, on our performance.
For full-time hires or
long term contracts, a one time flat fee is paid by the Client upon
hiring one of our Associates.
For this fee, we will:
(i) search our extensive database
of Associates to match the skills requested by the Client,
(ii)
make all arrangements for interview
appointments,
(iii)
conduct initial interviews,
(iv)
complete reference checks, and
(v)
forward résumés and/or interview
results of qualified Associates to the Client for review.
For temporary, contract or
temporary-to-permanent positions, the Associate is considered to be
our employee, and as such, remains on our payroll for a
pre-determined amount of hours.
We are responsible for the remittance of all
applicable payroll deductions on your behalf (Federal Tax, Provincial Tax, EI, CPP,
WSIB, EHT, and vacation pay), and the creation/mailing of the
Associate’s year-end T4 for tax purposes.
An Associate hourly rate will be suggested to the
Client based on the industry average.
The hourly rate plus HST must be agreed upon prior to the
Associate being placed with the Client.
